Where does the money go?
A basic outline of Vision’s costs
Vision is a youth work charity run entirely by volunteers. Almost all of our funding
comes from one-off or regular gifts from individuals, or from fundraising events.
Every penny really does make a difference and we’re so grateful to everyone who
has contributed financially towards our work since we started in 2002.
Most of our funding is used to directly resource our work with young people.
This includes equipment and resources for our schools work, concerts, small groups,
Youth Alpha courses, Inspire workshop days etc (click ABOUT to find out more).
There are other essential costs which keep things running smoothly ‘behind the scenes’.
These include publicity and admin resources, office equipment, insurance, and
rent/utility bills for Vision HQ where we have our office, and Woodlea Mission.
A small percentage of donations are also put into our Stepping Out fund: young people
can apply for small grants (up to £100) when they ‘step out’ for God.
Unless specified, your donation will be used wherever the need is greatest.
Please note our full-time team are not paid by Vision and depend on personal support.
