CONCERT TEAMS
Thank you!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who
helped with Vision’s big concerts at St Mary’s Church.

Details of how you can get involved with future work
will be shown here in 2010.
Vision recognises the enormous contribution that volunteers make to our work, and we want as many people as
possible to have the opportunity to be involved.

We are committed to setting and maintaining very high standards in youth work and therefore have a number
of procedures and guidelines in place. These are designed to help safeguard our volunteers and the young people
they work with.

All volunteers working for Vision must complete a short Self Declaration Form.
This is to confirm that the volunteer is suitable to work with young people and is committed to Vision’s Child
Protection Policy
(see below). The form must be re-submitted annually and contain details of a trustworthy
referee. Volunteers may not work on Vision’s behalf until their form has been submitted and approved.

All volunteers working directly with young people must have an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
Anyone aged 18 or over who is working directly with young people on behalf of Vision must have a valid enhanced
disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) which is specifically for youth work.

If you are unsure about this, please contact us directly for more information >>

Vision volunteers are selected based on a number of factors including but not limited to character, competance, suitability for the role
and previous experience. Applying for role and completing a Self Declaration Form does not guarantee a position on the team
.
